Our gorgeous friend Bea was absolutely glowing for her Gold Coast maternity shoot at 37 weeks. We took a drive to this gorgeous location amoung the sugarcane fields half way between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, to the Yatala / Alberton area, about five minutes drive from the famous Yatala Drive-in. Anyone who grew up around the northern Gold Coast area probably visited the Yatala Drive-in when they were growing up, as it’s the only one around. Bea and I shared lots of giggles on a glorious Good Friday afternoon among the sugar cane fields at Yatala, Gold Coast.
Doesn’t Bea just look simply stunning? She has really looked after herself during this pregnancy, but usually does anyway and just has great genes I guess! Her maternity gown and flower crown were purchased through Sew Unique Prop Bowtique.
Taking these Gold Coast maternity shoot images of one of my beautiful friends was very special and I feel honoured to be capturing yet another milestone for her family. Bea and her husband Jayme were married last year and we were lucky enough to photograph their wedding at Osteria Casuarina last May. It was such a brilliant day! We also captured a first birthday cake smash session for their son Brodie and family portraits around Brisbane when he was just a baby. Soon they will welcome their second son and we cannot wait to meet their precious little bundle of joy. Thank you Bea for allowing me to capture these beautiful images at sunset at Yatala among the golden sugar cane fields. I can’t wait to come and capture more precious moments when we do you at home lifestyle newborn shoot with you and your family next month.
