SAM + MARTIN // Kangaroo Point engagement

You couldn’t wipe the smile off the faces of these two lovebirds on this gorgeous summer afternoon on the day of their Kangaroo Point engagement shoot. We had a lot of fun getting to know this lovely couple and exploring some very beautiful and breathtaking sights of Brisbane. We started at the Captain Burke Park under the iconic Brisbane landmark, the Story Bridge. Then we headed for the newly built Holman Street ferry terminal which provided an amazing vista for this Kangaroo Point engagement shoot, looking from the banks of the Brisbane River at Kangaroo Point over to the ever growing Brisbane cityscape. To finish off we took a stroll to the Kangaroo Point cliffs overlooking the Brisbane city skyline. We had a great time getting to know Sam and Marty who are just awesome together. Sam had a career in hairdressing when she was younger but then was driven to change careers and study nursing, which she has now graduated from. She would certainly be very good at cheering up her patients with her infectious smile! Martin runs his own business as an Immigration Lawyer and Migrant Agent and enjoys the perks of working from home out of their Kangaroo Point apartment. engagement shoot couple sitting on kangaroo point stone wall overlooking Brisbane cityhappy couple at their kangaroo point engagement shoot under story bridge and sitting on a park bench at Brisbane Riverhappy couple at kangaroo point engagement shoot kissing and pulling faces on a jetty at Brisbane Story Bridgekangaroo point engagement shoot with romantic couple relaxing on park bench and laughing together with Story Bridge and Brisbane River in backgroundkangaroo point engagement shoot of couple walking under the story bridge smiling and holding handskangaroo point engagement shoot of a couple smiling as they hug and embrace each other happily in park with tree lined path behind themcute couple kissing and playing on picnic table at kangaroo point engagement shoot with a large oak tree behind themkangaroo point engagement shoot in Captain Burke Park with couple looking at each other lovingly and smilingkangaroo point engagement shoot of sweet couple at Holman Street ferry terminal leaning against a bright blue wall kangaroo point engagement shoot under an oak tree with the story bridge and brisbane river behind them kangaroo point engagement shoot with romantic couple having a little dance under a tree lined path at Captain Burke Park Kangaroo Pointblack and white photo of kangaroo point engagement shoot with couple looking at each other fondly and smiling with the Brisbane city skyline behind themkangaroo point engagement shoot of couple sitting on park bench having a fun time togetherlady looking at the camera wearing a white dress as her fiance looks at her lovingly at kangaroo point engagement shootcute couple so in love having fun together at their kangaroo point engagement shoot in Brisbanekangaroo point engagement shoot couple hugging at Holman Street ferry terminal with Brisbane CBD and Brisbane River behind themkangaroo point engagement shoot of man and woman smiling and talking together sitting on a long bench and with city skyline in background kangaroo point engagement shoot at Kangaroo Point cliffs with couple with back towards camera looking out towards the Brisbane skyline kangaroo point engagement shoot of cute couple embraced and happy sitting on stone wall at Kangaroo Point overlooking Brisbane kangaroo point engagement shoot with focus on a man looking out towards the sunset thoughtfully with his fiance beside him looking at him lovingly kangaroo point engagement shoot with guy and girl wearing white dress and white shirt and blue jeans with hands on hips looking at camerablack and white landscape image of couple at their kangaroo point engagement shoot looking at the camera with lit up Brisbane city skyline

This Kangaroo Point engagement shoot was an absolute breeze as these guys were just too easy to capture and were such a pleasure to work with! Being the first time we’d met Sam and Marty, we thought they’d have to be newly engaged as they are so smitten, but nope they’ve been engaged for years! Now they’re tying the knot this spring in September with family and friends in Brisbane at Roma Street Parklands followed by a wedding reception at Hotel Urban Brisbane. We can’t wait for their wedding day! We’re 100% sure they’ll be plenty more jokes and endless giggling, especially from Sam! Thanks for making our job super duper easy, guys! We’re really honoured to be capturing your wedding day.
